Canceling Your Contract With Your Property Manager.

Ensure you are aware of the given timeline for this, as it can vary between one and two months. If you have been living there for less than a year, it is possible that you may be on a contract that includes a provision for early termination. Ensure you have decided on a definite move-out date before submitting your notice.
Declutter Before You Book Us
Children and Animals
When relocating animals or friends and family members, you’ll want to make sure you’ve taken care of their schooling and informed the old school of the address change.
Furthermore, if it’s necessary to book kennels or a cattery for the transition, be sure to do this in a timely fashion. Additionally, plan ahead for how the animals and children will be taken care of on moving day(s).When movers are working around animals and children it can be dangerous for them.

Maintain Your Car Beforehand And Plan The Route
Before hitting the road on your moving day, it is important to make sure that your car has been serviced and your tyres are in good condition. Double-check your route and be sure to plan for stops for fuel and for rest breaks. As professional movers, we have breaks too, so it it advised to ask when we are stopping and where.
Move Approaching
With two weeks to go, it’s time to get serious about getting packed. As the day of your move approaches, make sure you’re nearly done. One of the biggest problems when moving is not being prepared for your movers when we arrive. If You feel packing your home is too much, then please request a packing service from us.
Packing
Packing ahead of time will help you to remain composed enough to take away any moving day stress.If you are starting packing yourself then clearly label your boxes. On the box it should state:
- Your name
- What room it’s going in.
- Its contents.
- The room its going into in your new home
Don’t forget to empty out your cupboards and make sure your fridge/freezer is defrosted and dried out, and no frozen food is left in them. The truth is when a house is on sale, you can be waiting for hours until the exchange happens.
Valuables
Keep valuables, important documents, and paperwork in a safe place away from the chaos of packing. Include any documents you need for moving.
You can keep this with you in the car on moving day. Know where you’ve put all your important things, such as:

- Birth certificates
- Marriage certificate
- Passport
- Driving license
- Jewelery
- Money
The Day Before Your Move
The day before you move can feel a little bit pressured. Make certain that your mobile phone is charged and that your essential items are in a clearly marked box. If you are feeling uneasy, then you can always give us a call.
For movers especially in the summer, it’s extremely hard work, and a drink never goes a miss. Just so you understand a mover’s logic, we lift approximately 3 tonnes on and off on a small 1-bedroom house move.

Moving Day And Loading Up

Again you will walk us around the home, so we know which bedroom is which. If you really want to help you can label the bedroom numbers on the doors so we know what box is going where rather than asking you all the time.
Once we have unloaded all of your goods, it is good practice for you to check our vehicle so that you are happy that all goods have been delivered.
Now it’s time to say our goodbyes.
It is always advised to take your time unpacking. You’ve already had a big day, and you’ll be in your home for years to come.
